OUTDOOR EQUIPMENT
in cooperation with

Hiking boots or strong shoes which give good support to the feet. There is nothing as important as good and comfortable shoes when one is on a hike. Especially in Mallorcas’, sometimes very streneous terrain. Remember that the wrong shoes or boots can ruin your whole visit. Through a co-operation with one of the worlds leading manufactures of hiking boots, Bestard, our clients are entitled to purchase boots direct from their island outlet in Lloseta. You will find the prices most attractive. www.bestard.com

A windbreaker that keeps the cold wind out which occasionally can blow on the high peaks.

A sun hat if you are sensitive to the sun.

Swimsuit and a towel are always good to have at hand in the rucksack during the warm period that usually is between the beginning April to the end October.

Waterproof clothing. Mallorca has more or less 300 days of sun per year, but you never know when it might rain.

A Waterbottle containing at least 1 litre. The body always requires additional liquid in hot weather.

A small torch with new batteries. Some hikes go through tunnels and we visit some caves. On these occasions a torch is a must.

A whistle if the fog suddenly comes down. The fog can come without warning in the mountains. Should you for some reason be lost in the fog walking alone, -or you have an accident, then a whistle could be your best friend.

Insect repellent. The mosquitoes can be a nuisance during the summer period.
